The in-bin grain drying system works by following these steps:
- The wet grain is loaded into the overhead drying chamber, where the moisture in the grain is forced up until it leaves the bin using the roof vent system.
- When the grain is dried to a specified moisture level, it is then released into the storage and cooling area. The overhead drying chamber is refilled with more wet grain.
- The cooling fan in the storage and cooling area runs constantly to cool the grain that has been dried. The ultra-dry system in the Lambton model recycles the heat that the cooling grain gives off to improve the dryer’s energy efficiency.
This ag dryer system can be used with most types of grain. It is compatible with bins up to 11 tiers — or rings — tall and is available with bins in these sizes:

The Lambton Ultra Dry bin is manufactured from galvanized steel, so it is durable to last a long time and has low maintenance requirements. Operation and maintenance are also simplified with fan units located on the ground through ductwork. These fans can be parallel or perpendicular to the bin and positioned to direct noise away from the operation area.
